How can an Occupational Health Psychologist help you?

Occupational health psychology is defined as “the application of psychology to improve the quality of work life and protect and promote the safety, health and well-being of workers”.

In practice, as a qualified occupational health psychologist I address the following topics in my private practice:

  • individual  treatment interventions to deal with work-related stress

  • individual treatment interventions to recover from job burn-out

  • any kind of psychological problems, distress or adjustment disorders related to stress

  • evaluation of organizational risk factors and psychological work characteristics and how they may be related to  occupational stress and mental health

  • coping with bullying at work

  • coping with interpersonal conflicts at work

  • psychological debriefing after traumatic events at work (violence, sudden death of a colleague)
